So today, I'm allowing myself a little time to mope, pray, think.
I couldn't resist sharing one thought and song with you.
I'm not sure what your circumstances are today. I don't know if your heart is happy or sad. I don't know if the world seems to be floating or crashing around you. But I know this...
Your circumstances, good or bad, are wasted if they don't bring you closer to God.
The good in your life?
It's a distraction and an idol if it doesn't bring you laughing and dancing at the feet of Jesus.
The bad in your life?
It's only a curse if you let the problem be the focus, rather than God.
But if the bad in life sends you desperately to your Help and Your God... well then it is blessing and beauty. Nothing is better than being nearer to our Hope.
So today, I'm enjoying a sweet pain that cracks my heart a bit, but also makes me crack my Bible and feel the goodness of a Savior who will redeem all things.
