Oh Monday Monday… why can’t I get it together on Mondays?
I THOUGHT I might post today about some of our local heroes of the faith… you know, those people in my own little town who blew my mind with obedience to God — and then often moved away! I’m starting a series about them called Faith Takes Feet.
I also THOUGHT I could post about the need for respite care. “Respite care” is given by foster-care-certified people who aren’t necessarily foster parents, but can babysit for foster parents needing a break. That’d be a great post, wouldn’t it!?
I THOUGHT I might tell you that “Jay” sent me a Facebook message from his new home and posted on his status about how faithful God has been to him. That’d be a tear-jerker, wouldn’t it!?
Ah… but alas, it is Monday.
And here is what you get…
A crazy pregnant Barbie picture that my husband will tease me mercilessly about whenever he gets around to reading this post, and a random fact about a nurse in training that I met almost a month ago. She was 8 months pregnant and had just found out about it. You know, like that TV show where women find out that they were pregnant as their baby falls out of the womb? I used to think that show could be called “Idiots.” But now I know. Oh yes. It really happens. You can be 8 months pregnant and not know it. She certainly did not look pregnant! I have seen it for myself. It can happen. Craziness.
Man, I am deep.
