  1. Great series Rachel. I came across this post through Team Parker. I advocate for HIV+ children without parental care around the world. I often speak with moms of HIV+ kids (mostly adopted). If any of your readers would like to see what their day to day lives are like, I list about 50 different family blogs on my site http://www.positivelyorphaned.org. Just click on the "Family Blogs" tab at the top. I love reaching out to other people who are spreading awareness. I found out about the possibility of raising HIV+ children from Erin Henderson a few years ago (love her Tell Two campaign) and ever since then, I've felt it's really important to be vocal about this topic, even if in an anonymous way. It's the only way the ignorance, fear and stigma will go away and be replaced with love and acceptance.
