The Embassy in Uganda is apparantly becoming overworked with adoptions, and they told our adoption agency to expect possible delays. We got this news late last week. Lifeline has decided to change the expected length of the Ugandan adoption process from 10 – 12 months to 12 – 15 months. The good news? We are far enough along in the process that they don’t expect this to affect us. (I hope not!) Other good news? The Embassy is hoping to increase their staff in the future to decrease these delays.
Nothing to earth-shattering, but definately a reminder to keep praying for God’s perfect timing. (and to keep thanking Him for it, because it’s perfect whether we ask for it or not!!)
